Video Player Problems Plague Experience

The most recent version (2.2) of the iPhone app for edX has been rife with video player issues. With downloaded videos, the use case Im most familiar with, the video player no longer allows me to turn my iPhone on the right side--requiring landscape mode only functional by turning the iPhone on its left side. Now once watching a lecture in landscape mode, whenever I get a notification from iOS or another app that puts up a banner, the edX app jumps to portrait mode and stays there until explicitly expanded back to landscape mode, repeatedly for every notification.

Also, after the app updated, all my previously downloaded lectures had been deleted.

The video player still does not have autoplay in downloaded or regular mode, similar to the Coursera app.
