This class helped me evaluate what I am doing right and what steps I need to take to improve my use of my time.

When in courses, the backlinks try to open in a webpage instead of the app, so it’s jumping through this web view within the app and Safari instead of being a seamless experience. Accordions expand/collapse components, everywhere and no easy way to just go through the course in sequence. Have to expand each to hunt for the next item. Have to tap Finish to ensure it captured that you watched the video or took an assessment…

I just got out of prison and I’m using this app and opportunity to expand my knowledge and soft and educational skills thanks for the opportunity to get a decent job and career

I found the new features of this app to be confusing and unnecessary. Meanwhile, the basic downloading function takes an unreasonably long time, which is apparently a bug.

Can’t do my course without having to flip a browser because of whatever reasons and if you think about it, it would probably be more secure if you didn’t have to flip between mobile and browser so that you can’t use AI to answer the questions so until now I mean, I think the app is great but would be it’d be even better. I would say probably even state of the yard if I could not flip back-and-forth between mobile and browser.

If you register online you will not be able to access your courses or account through the app.

Would love if it is done in slides. I mean you can slide topic by topic to get better understanding of each topic It’s too fast and ends soon without grasping much knowledge as needed Thank you

Edx is a great resource although I wish they had a membership where you pay a yearly fee and have access to many programs. Paying for each individual certificate gets expensive fast! One issue with this app and it makes it basically useless for me is in courses that have the Ed platform. You can’t load the exercise and complete it in your phone. You have to get out of the app and into a desktop. I wish they could fix this

Quizzes get stuck in infinite loading screen which renders app useless and I’m just going to the course’s playlist on youtube and pausing for clarification and reinforcement.

So far so good, I love how it’s free for the first year and flexible to those who are needing or wanting a career change. Ima a single mom that needs a new career that not only pays more but also challenges me to grow and that I am passionate about. So I’m busting through the tech world as a woman. Online courses are the future. I’m grateful for the opportunity to get certified and stake the steps in the right direction for my new reality in the tech field. I’ll update as I go and learn more through this and gain more success.

I like how it tells you what you want to know

For a platform pioneered by Ivy League institutions with the goal of making learning easily accessible for millions around the world, ironically, this app demonstrates the total opposite. It is not user friendly, its slow, and hard to navigate. In a world becoming more and more reliant on the use of a smart phone, this app needs to be completely redesigned or why even bother having one for your platform!

I really enjoy learning and doing my course from this app, it provides me with subjects to my taste and knowledge I could get in one app rather than my own research which may or may not be inaccurate. I have a little thirst for knowledge so over all 10/10 would recommend for anyone who loves learning lol.

Maybe it’s the course I’m in, but to continuously have to click, click, click, click to move through every little tiny part of the program is very annoying.

Edx is distance education at its finest! I LOVE the classes, teachers, and am looking forward to learning many new skills while adding to the facets of my hire ability

I used to download courses’ videos for offline viewing but now I can’t do it anymore. When I download videos, as soon as I go offline my videos get lost automatically.

I’m new to edX as I’m starting an online class with Princeton. I find it fairly easy to use and very educational. Professor Robert P George is very easy to understand. I have taken the constitution class before in high school and I taught it to my children and step children. As an adult some of my ideas changed over the years. And I learned how my constitutional rights and now the civil liberties course applied to me personally. My parents were special people. Mom Woodrow Wilson’s niece my father one of Nixon greatest fans. I just planted trees in the Dixon forest for their legacy in Ga. The professor makes it easy for me to understand. Mom was a Democrat and dad was Republican. And Thomas my friend is English American so I sometimes need clarification of the constitution and my civil liberties. He has helped me to decide How to vote and gave me confidence and continued faith in our country. He reminded me of God our creator and talks openly and allows any discussion . I throughly appreciate the class. He said the Republican Party actually is the party that protects our civil liberties. He said we do not want a tyranny but a republic with some democratic qualities. He has helped me understand the equality issue. He has a gentle voice but it is strong and the program also has a down load feature which I’ve made use of and a hearing impaired which I don’t always need but I can not have my class when I’m in the other room with my roommate always. My significant other has helped me with the class though I took tests and discussions on my own.

I continuously have to login and out to access videos, I also have to uninstall and reinstall the app and restarting my phone multiple times every time I want to use the app. it seems to work at random after I’ve done this several times each for both logging in and out, and also uninstalling and reinstalling the app and also restarting my phone.

Went from a clean background to hard to see green and other background colors. The scrolling text is in large bubbles, so that much less text appears on the screen at a time, and now scrolling through to find something is a headache. The new update won’t save where my progress is in a video. So much NOT WORKING like it used to. Would go back to the old app and never update if I could.

Does not keep track of which lecture is up next. Does not keep track of where I am within a given video lecture. There’s no way to fullscreen the video in landscape mode so slides remain small always.

Good for first 3 weeks the rest of my course is active on desktop.

App works well and the classes are amazing

I really enjoy learning different studies in all aspects of educational courses knowledge and understanding. Amazing app.
